Who Is the Cyclical Sage
The Cyclical Sage perceives life through the lens of cycles and change. Their key card is the Wheel of Fortune (Major Arcana X) — the great turning wheel whose motion is constant, whose figures rise and fall as the wheel spins. This card does not represent luck or fate alone, but the recognition that all things move in patterns: seasons, tides, the long arcs of a life.
Cyclical Sages see patterns where others see randomness. They understand — with a depth that is almost bodily — that every phase carries its own meaning. Growth, bloom, decline, and renewal are not interruptions of life but the rhythm of it. Where others are surprised by winter, the Cyclical Sage has been watching autumn.
Their composure in difficulty comes not from detachment but from a deep familiarity with how things move through time.
The Cyclical Sage’s Strengths
Understanding natural cycles. The Cyclical Sage reads the rhythms of situations, relationships, and inner experience as naturally as reading weather. They know what phase they are in — and what that means for what to do next.
Embracing change. They are not destabilized by transition. Change is not a threat to the Cyclical Sage — it is the medium they are most comfortable in.

The Cyclical Sage’s Shadows
